The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is a group of committed volunteers.  Each board member makes a financial contribution. No board member receives compensation.

The Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board is a group of clinical and scientific experts who are considered leaders in their fields. Each member reviews and scores proposed research projects. An Advisory Board member may receive a small honorarium for their time and expertise.

Volunteers

The CMT Research Foundation has invaluable volunteers helping to advance our mission.  Presently, volunteers assist in critical areas like media communications, social media, web development and donor relations. Volunteers are not paid but are highly appreciated!

Why Can’t I Find the CMT Research Foundation on Charity Navigator?

Charity Navigator rates charities that have been in existence for at least seven years and have had $1 million in annual revenue for at least two consecutive years. Five other criteria are also required, most of which the CMT Research Foundation has already met.  Read more about Charity Navigator’s rating system.

In 2025, once we meet the inclusion criteria, you will find the CMT Research Foundation on Charity Navigator.  Until then, we will be transparent about our finances, including publication of CMTRF’s 990s.

The CMT Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity as designated by the Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by the law.
