The CMT Research Foundation’s CEO Laura MacNeil will participate in the 2026–2027 cohort of The FasterCures LeadersLink Program, a program from the Milken Institute.
The program aims to help promising nonprofit research leaders worldwide build high-performing organizations and facilitate the growth of their peer support network.
MacNeil said of the appointment, “At the CMT Research Foundation, we’re at a pivotal moment: building the infrastructure, alliances, and funding velocity needed to get real treatments to the CMT community.”
“Programs like LeadersLink give us the rare opportunity to learn from organizations that have already blazed this path – deepening our capacity to be the strategic, high-impact partner the CMT community deserves.”
Through the 20-month program (March 2026–December 2027), participants will develop knowledge and connections that can aid them in bringing about positive changes within their organizations and throughout the biomedical ecosystem.
